Coming to Lithuania from abroad

Lithuania is a member of the Shengen area. The Shengen website provides all the necessary information to know whether you need a visa and how to apply for one.

Travelling to Vilnius, Lithuania

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania and is easily accessible from many European cities. The city has its own international airport — Vilnius Airport (VNO) — which is the most convenient option and is recommended for arrival.

Alternatively, Lithuania’s second-largest city, Kaunas, also has an airport — Kaunas Airport (KUN). If you arrive there, it is recommended to take a bus from Kaunas to Vilnius. Tickets and schedules are available here: Kaunas–Vilnius bus routes.

Upon arrival in Vilnius — either at the bus station or at the airport — the guides of each team will be waiting to greet you. Please make sure to provide your travel information to the organizers in advance.
